『光のシークエンス』は、一瞬または連続する一瞬に知覚される「光」を主題として、列車やバスなどの

「車窓」に映る光景を主な被写体としながら、心の作用や時の流れが現実の風景に重ねて見せる、

目には見えない光景の断片を定着すべく制作された写真作品です。

本作品は、ドイツのアート雑誌「Schöngeist」2008年冬号の表紙他にて発表され、2009年に東京・青山の

スパイラルで開催された Spiral Independent Creator’s Festival に参加の際、国内にて初披露されました。

今回の個展ではプリント作品とプロジェクションを組み合わせ、初めて完全な形で展示されることになります。

これまでにも写真家では畠山直哉、テキスタイルではミナ・ペルホネンほか、他の学内

ギャラリーとは一線を画する意欲的な展示が多く企画されてきた〈space B〉での個展は、

作家のここ数年間の制作の集大成を示すものとなります。ぜひご高覧ください。

“Sequences of Light” is best explained as like a moment of time, or perceived light in a

consecutive moment of time. Our eyes always move to this space and time. This photographic

work expresses fragments of the visible and the invisible. It shows the passing of time and the

changing of minds from reflections in car or train windows.
